Peace Boat visit
The APEC University, through its Dean of Tourism received in its fourth consecutive year the visit of the Peace Boat, which is a is a non-governmental, non-profit international organization, headquartered in Japan, which works to promote peace, human rights, sustainable and equitable development and respect for the environment. It conducts its principal activities through the organization of educational cruise for peace aboard a large passenger ship.

It promoted the cultural exchange between Japanese students and students of the career of Tourism and Hotel Management of our Institution. In addition, as part of the delegation, we received the visit of a group of seniors who enthusiastically joined in the activities of students during a visit to the Principal Campus , Dr Nicolas Pichardo. This event took place last September 27, 2011.
The visitors were received by authorities, teachers and students from the School of Languages of UNAPEC , then conduct a program of activities in the English language, which included cultural exchanges (writing, crafts, calligraphy, music and folklore, among others) , a tour through colonial city and the Columbus Lighthouse. Also this tour included a visit to the Peace Boat of the UNAPEC's principals, teachers and students.
